Course Description

Did you know many countries do not allow pentobarbital? Or that depending on which region of the world you are in, euthanasia may not be allowed? Euthanasia is not one-size-fits-all. Determined by the human-animal bond, cultural norms, legislation, religion and more, variations to protocols across the globe require a healthy amount of understanding. This module will begin the conversation around what dictates euthanasia policies, and conclude with discussion of zoo euthanasia as well. 1 CE credit offered following brief quiz and survey.
